Bullring of Los Barrios at Cadiz

The bullring of Los Barrios began to be built in 1998, putting the first stone the cattleman and rejoneador Álvaro Domecq Díez.
It was inaugurated on April 16, 2000 with a poster formed by "El Juli", Manuel Caballero and José Antonio Ortega, who fought bulls from the cattle ranch of Gavira.
It is the only bullring in Spain to date with a bullfighting name, coming from a natural monument in stone that resembles a Montera bullfighter taurine, located on a nearby road.
The project to close the plaza began in mid-December 2006.
