It is a must date in the bullfighting calendar of Madrid, since it means the official closing of the season in the Monumental of Madrid. Why is the Hispanic Heritage Day celebrated?

The Hispanic Heritage Day or National Day of Spain is celebrated every October 12 to commemorate the discovery of America. It is a celebration of Hispanic culture beyond European boundaries, a very special day for any Spanish and Spanish speakers.
