The first big date at the Real Maestranza in Seville. As is tradition, Resurrection Sunday opens the season in the Sevillian bullring. The week of greatest feeling in Seville culminates with a great afternoon of bulls and the ‘No tickets’ hung days before at the box office of the Maestranza. 

Why is the bullfight on Resurrection Sunday in Seville so important?

Seville lives with fervor Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday is the great celebration after mourning. Going to the bulls on Easter Sunday is a tradition for Sevillians but also for foreigners; in fact it is the first big full in the rows of the season.
