History: This cattle breeding began in July 1995 by the purchase of Arturo Cobaleda from half of the 167 cows older than 3 years of livestock, all of them of Barcial origin, encaste Vega-Villar.

  The specimens of the herd were divided into two lots, as evenly matched as possible. They were raffled in the presence of Simón Carreño (famous professional of the world of the bulls and faithful collaborator of the house Chopera).

As is a breeding stock, their numbers are very variable.
Our intention is to stabilize ourselves with about 100-120 belly cows, which will mean around 80-100 youngsters per litter and about five or six annual runs of this encaste.
