The upcoming bullfighting season will take place from March 23 to 30, featuring a lineup that includes four bullfights, a rejoneo (horseback bullfighting) event, a novillada with picadors, another without picadors, and a practical training session. A major highlight this year is the addition of an extra bullfight in June, included in the season ticket, coinciding with the Sant Pere festivities. This special event will feature top matadors and mark Cayetano’s farewell to this arena while also serving as a tribute to Manolo Colonques, co-founder of Porcelanosa, in recognition of his unwavering support for bullfighting and its global promotion.

All events will begin at 5:00 PM, except for the June bullfight, which is scheduled for 7:30 PM. On the livestock front, there is an exciting addition with two of the most highly regarded breeders in recent years: La Quinta and Santiago Domecq, the latter being last season’s standout. Their inclusion adds an extra level of anticipation for aficionados.

• Sunday 23rd March. Bullfight. Bulls from La Quinta for Antonio Ferrera, El Fandi and Manuel Escribano. Bullfighters and banderilleros.

• Monday 24th March. Rejones. Bulls from Fermín Bohórquez for Andy Cartagena, Diego Ventura and Duarte Fernandes.

• Tuesday 25th March. Practical class. Young bulls from Sepúlveda for Manuel Quintana, Israel Aparicio, Abel Rodríguez, Manolo Martínez, Íker de Virgilio, Cristian Restrepo.

• Wednesday 26th March. Novillada without picadors. Young bulls from Hnas. Angoso Clavijo for Daniel Artazos, Bruno Martínez, Ruiz de Velasco, Alejandro González, Ian Bermejo and Clovis.

• Thursday 27th March. Novillada picada. Novillos fromMontalvo for Javier Zulueta, Cristian González and Javier Aparicio (debut with picadors).

• Friday 28th March. Bullfight. Bulls from Puerto de San Lorenzo and Ventana del Puerto for Manzanares, Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado.

• Saturday 29th March. Bullfight. Bulls from Santiago Domecq for Daniel Luque and Tomás Rufo, mano a mano.

• Sunday, 30 March. Bullfight. Bulls from Juan Pedro Domecq for Morante de la Puebla, Sebastián Castella and Talavante.

• Saturday 28 June. Sant Pere Festivities. Extraordinary bullfight in homage to Manuel Colonques Moreno. Bulls from Domingo Hernández for Manzanares, Cayetano (who bids farewell) and Roca Rey.
