Considered the World Championship of Bullfighting, in Las Ventas Bullring we attend a full month of bullfighting celebrations: bullfights, steer-bullfights, horse-bullfights and even popular festivities, they occupy every afternoon between the months of May and June. What happens in the Monumental of Madrid during San Isidro will depend on the evolution of the rest of the fairs. Figures that will revalidate their title, bullfighters that will be consecrated, young promises that will become reality, the bravest bulls of the Spanish field...and many more surprises and revelations.

The Fair of San Isidro is the main fair of the Bullring of Las Ventas, the first bullring in the world, and therefore it is the first fair in the world, both for the importance and category of its more than 30 bullfights and for the duration of the same.

San Isidro, whose holiday is celebrated on May 15, is the patron of the villa of Madrid and in his honor this great bullfighting fair takes place with more than 70 years of history. With the passing of the years the number increased until reaching the more than 30 current continued bullfights. It begins in the month of May and ends in June.

Around 70 performers, among bullfighter, steer-bullfighters and horse-bullfighters, make the walk to face about 40 cattle ranches of different races, the most important of the Spanish brave field, seeking the dream of opening the Main Gate (‘Puerta Grande) and going out on shoulders to Alcalá Street. Essential evenings such as the Charity Bullfight, the Press Bullfight, the Culture Bullfight; Roca Rey's performances, Diego Ventura's horse-bullfighting figure, Victorino Martín's bulls, Adolfo Martín's bulls...all together at the Grand Fair of San Isidro!

One more year, the management company of the bullring of Madrid prepares the more than 30 posters of San Isidro with all the figures of the ranks, the emerging bullfighters, debuting bullfighters, new steer-bullfighters and leaders of its category, the most important and also the toughest livestock…Plaza 1 ensures a month of emotions in Las Ventas de Madrid.

Single tickets are on sale at the beginning of May, however, you can book your tickets with us right now! Remember that Las Ventas Bullring has a large number of subscribers with the anual pass and it is difficult to get tickets for many of the bullfighs, so do not hesitate to purchase yours as soon as possible in Servitoro; and we also have season-tickets for San Isidro!
