Bulls Málaga Feria de Agosto

The Malagueta celebrates the great Fair of Málaga in the month of August, when the city is in full summer boil. For more than a week, the rows of the Bullring are filled to enjoy an essential part of the Fair: the art of bullfighting.

Why is Málaga Fair held in August? 

Málaga Fair commemorates the incorporation of the city to the Crown of Castile by the Catholic Monarchs, when they took it on August 19, 1487. Already in the fifteenth century it was celebrated, in addition to a procession, with a bullfight.

Today it is one of the great events of summer on the Costa del Sol, with the Day Fair that is lived in the center and the Night Fair in the Real of the Cortijo de Torres. The pilgrimage, fireworks, the cover ofLarios Street, flamenco, dance, lanterns, booths...flood Málaga with light and color.

When is the Málaga 2025 Fair? 

The August Fair of the Andalusian city will be held in August, 2024, so it is likely that the Bullfighting Fair coincides in days and we enjoy eight bullfighting celebrations of the highest level.

Which bullfights can we enjoy in Málaga? 

The Malagueta company, Toros del Mediterráneo, organizes an August Fair with the level of a first-class bullring; with the best fighting-bull ranches, the most important figures and emerging youth. Bullfights, horse-bullfights and steer-bullfights make up the serial.
