The bullfighter from Chiclana, José Ruiz Muñoz, has announced an unprecedented event: a solo bullfight on 15th February 2025 in Guillena. This initiative, organised to benefit Daño Cerebral Sevilla (DACE), will feature the attendance of Infanta Doña Elena and aims to raise awareness about the needs of people affected by brain injuries and their families. Ruiz Muñoz will face four bulls from different breeders in an evening dedicated to solidarity and commitment.

The event, promoted by the company Tauroluz and led by Rafael Jurado, highlights the involvement of the entire bullfighting community. From breeders who have donated the bulls to the technical teams who will participate altruistically, the event is a collective show of support for a pressing cause. The bullfighter’s wife suffered a severe brain injury following the birth of their second child, a personal experience that deeply affected Ruiz Muñoz and inspired him to lead this initiative with determination and purpose.

The proceeds from the event will go entirely to DACE, an association tirelessly working to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by brain injuries. According to the organisation's president, Gustavo Molina, the funds will be crucial for equipping a new care and rehabilitation centre.
