History: About the year 1845 Mr. Miguel de la Morena formed this breeding with Jijona breed cattle. To the death of this one he inherited his son Pedro, who was a priest, announcing himself "Ganadería del Cura de la Morena". By 1886 he sold most of it to Mr. Amador García, and from this he passed on to his children. In 1925 it was acquired by Manuel Arranz, who eliminated all of the above and acquired two litters from that of María Montalvo, from Martínez, adding a stallion from the Count of the Court. Later he threw a stallion of Mr. Graciliano Pérez-Tabernero and another of Mr. Antonio Pérez. In 1967 it was announced in the name of "Heirs of Don Manuel Arranz" and in 1977 it was sold to Mr. Ramón Sánchez Recio.
