Due to the great bullfighting tradition generated in Tarazona de la Mancha, they decided to build the bullring in the middle of the 19th century. The inauguration was in 1857. Just a century later, in 1957, the bullring was reformed and enlarged.

In 2007, the 150th anniversary of the oldest bullring in the province of Albacete was celebrated, being a reference for its antiquity and tradition.
