It was inaugurated in 1951 with a bullfighting festival with Eugenio Ortega bulls that were fought by Domingo Ortega, Agustín Parra, Antonio Bienvenida, Pablo Lozano and Vargas.

The Town Hall acquired the bullring in November 1989, initiating the restoration of several areas of the bullring. First, the roof tier was undertaken, then the corrals were enlarged, an alley was built, which did not exist before, the infirmary and the bullfighting ring.

The last reform was carried out in 2009. It consisted of the renovation of the roof and the front of the bullring.
