When Does the Feria de Olivenza Take Place?

The Feria de Olivenza is held in March, traditionally during the first weekend of the month. This event is the heart of the town’s cultural life, attracting thousands of visitors and aficionados from across Spain, Portugal, and other European countries, including Germany, France, and Italy. Its vibrant atmosphere, combined with world-class bullfighting events and the Feria del Toro Ibérico (Iberian Bull Fair), makes Olivenza an unmissable destination for lovers of tauromachy.

Feria de Olivenza 2025

The 2025 fair will feature four events, including two bullfights and two novilladas with picadors, highlighted by the return of the legendary Morante de la Puebla.

Feria del Toro Ibérico

In parallel, the Feria del Toro Ibérico takes place at the town’s exhibition centre, offering a cultural and livestock showcase with talks, exhibitions, bull-testing events, and displays. These activities transform Olivenza into the capital of the bull, generating significant economic impact for the region.
