Bullfight in honor of Pablo Picasso

On April 19, the emblematic bullring of La Malagueta will host a unique event that fuses bullfighting tradition with contemporary aesthetics. In this context, a “Picassian” bullfight will be held, a staging that evokes the creative and revolutionary spirit of the famous Malaga painter Pablo Picasso. Bulls from the Álvaro Núñez ranch, known for their bravery and character, will be the protagonists of an afternoon that promises excitement, art and great technique. The matadors announced for this event are three figures of great renown at present: Andrés Roca Rey, the Peruvian who has conquered bullrings all over the world with his bravery; Jiménez Fortes, who returns to La Malagueta with his refined technique and peculiar style; and Juan Ortega, one of the most promising bullfighters of the season, who is characterized by his elegance and artistic depth.

The bullfight, besides being a highly anticipated event for the fans, stands out for its visual proposal, which is inspired by the colors and forms that Picasso cultivated throughout his career, seeking to reflect in each bullfight the mixture of tradition and modernity that the painter from Malaga always sought to capture. • Go to the show 1-2 hours in advance to avoid queues and crowds, so you will be able to find your seat without any problems.

• Tickets in paper format are to be submitted in printed format only. This format cannot be submitted on mobile devices. The venue may refuse access to the venue if entries are not submitted in paper format.
