Bulls Clairac

Owner: Clairac S.A.

Currency:  Incarnate and purple.

Acronym: UEM.

Ear signal: Orejisana in both.

Ranch farm: "La Moral de Castro" and "Torrejón", in Palencia de la Negrilla, Salamanca.

History: Around 1885, Mr. Eloy Lamamié de Clairac, from Muchachos (Ledesma), formed this cattle ranch with Mazpule cattle. Later, he added Martinez cattle and fought in the Salamanca bullring on September 12, 1892. The Clairac breed is derived from the Parladé breed, which in turn comes from the Vistahermosa breed. Its name is due to the brave cattle ranch that was owned by Luis Gamero Cívico, who in 1914 created his herd from the purchase of cattle from Fernando Parladé.

Currently, the cattle ranch is located in 'La Moral de Castro', in GARCIRREY, Salamanca, and specializes in the Clairac breed. Ignacio Aguado leads this limited company that preserves one of the purest lines of the Parladé lineage.
