Public debut: On August 26, 1989, in the town of Fermoselle, Zamora, he dressed for the first time in the bullfighter's costume.

Debut without picadors: He acted as novillero without picadors between 1990 and 1993.

Debut with picadors: On July 25, 1993, in the town of Candelario (Salamanca), he fought steers of the livestock of D. Vidal García Tabernero.

Presentation in Las Ventas: On September 14, 1999, in Las Ventas del Espíritu Santo, he had his presentation in Madrid in a novillada.

Alternative: On October 15, 1999, in Avila, he received the alternative as a bullfighter. His godfather was Manolo Sánchez and the witness was Canales Rivera, with bulls of D. Fernando Peña.

Confirmation in Madrid: On July 27, 2006, he confirmed his alternative in Madrid with bulls of "Los Recitales".

Triumphs: In 1998, he pardoned a young bull of "Son Rossinyol" in the Plaza de Toros de Inca (Baleares). He also pardoned young bulls in 1999 and 2004.

On April 10, 2022, he intervened as outstanding in the Easter Sunday Bullfight at Las Ventas in Madrid. Due to a catch of another bullfighter, Álvaro de la Calle fought and stooked the remaining five bulls, obtaining different recognitions.
