Winner of the novillada show held in the French bullring of Vic-Fezensac. In this bullfight bulls of Lartet were fought, to which the bullfighter from Navarre cut an ear.

He became a finalist in the II Bolsín de Zorita, in the centenary bullring of this town in Cáceres, together with Julio Méndez, from Cáceres, and Bruno Gimeno, from Valencia, the other two finalists.
