What to do in Antequera
It is known as "the heart of Andalusia" (el corazón de Andalucía) because of its central location among Málaga, Granada, Córdoba, and Seville.There are two annual festivals celebrated in Antequera that including traditional bullfights events.
Spring Fair:  This takes place in June and includes bullfights and an agricultural fair as well as all the traditional dancing, drinking, eating, music and wide variety of fair attractions for young and old alike.
Royal Fair of August: The Feria Real de Agosto claims to be one of the oldest in the country and involves a "romería" pilgrimage. The most significant events in the fair are: The Holy Mass held in the Bullring, The Proclamation of the Fair with "La Peña Taurina Los Cabales", leading personalities in the field of Tauromaquia (bullfight).

Programming bullfights Antequera:

• Spring Fair of Antequera. May 2017. At 18:00 pm. 1 bullfight (bull) and 1 novillada (young bulls)

• Royal Fair of August, Antequera. August. 1 bullfight (bull), 1 rejones (bullfights on horseback) and 1 novillada (young bulls) (still needs to be confirmed)

• October: 1 bullfight spectacle.
