Debut without Picadores: Iker Fernández Aliagas, known as "El Mene," made his public debut on August 15, 2021, in the town of Rasines, Cantabria.

Debut with Picadores: On February 12, 2024, he appeared in Ciudad Rodrigo, Salamanca.

Iker's passion for bullfighting began in his childhood when he attended bullfights with his family. Inspired by legendary figures in the sport, he decided to pursue formal training at local bullfighting schools, where he began forging his path as a novillero (young bullfighter). Under the guidance of skilled mentors, he developed a solid technique and a personal style that blends creativity, courage, and respect for bullfighting traditions. His journey started at the Escuela Taurina de Torrero in Zaragoza, where he trained in the bullring’s courtyard under the supervision of Ramón Olid.

"El Mene" marked a significant milestone in his career with his debut as a novillero with picadores on February 12, 2024, at the Ciudad Rodrigo bullring during the Carnaval del Toro. That day, he faced bulls from the José Enrique Fraile de Valdefresno ranch and delivered an outstanding performance, earning two ears from his first bull. Since then, he has performed in major bullrings across Spain, earning the admiration of audiences and critics alike. His ability to confront challenging bulls, his composure, and his knack for conveying emotion during his performances have established him as a rising star in the bullfighting world.
