It is the only bullring that is a regular polygon with an odd number of sides. It was inaugurated on May 20, 1883, for the matadors: the Rather fat one, Frascuelo and the Sailor, representing spectators of the whole Area of Spain around the border with Gibraltar, Jerez, El Puerto de Santa Maria, Málaga, Cordoba, Seville and Madrid, and presided by the high military and civil authorities of The Line of the Concepcion and Gibraltar. Cadiz is a city very known by his carnivals since he is some of the most important of Spain, of more acquaintances of the world and declared holiday of tourist international interest.
