Bullring Xátiva

From 1250, the King Jaime I grants to the city of Xàtiva privilege held a livestock fair, since then has celebrated without interruption (except periods of war, epidemics or disasters). Since then the fair has undergone changes from November until one gets to celebrate finally on 15 August every year coinciding with the feast of the “Asunción de Nuestra Señora”. The Festival "Fira d´Agost" has a duration of six days in which there are variety of activities, as well as show steers, sports competitions, shows (dance, theatre...) culinary competition and Fireworks.
