The Murcian town will celebrate the anniversary of its great bullfighting fair with one more event
Calasparra has presented the program of the next Rice Fair, organized by the City Council, the Bullfighting Working Table and the company Chipé Productions with Pedro Perez Chicote at the helm. On the occasion of its 30th Anniversary, the prestigious bullfighting fair increases the subscription with a celebration that will recover the 'Espiga de Plata'.
It will be a novillada without horses in which the bulls of Toros del Alamar will make its debut and whose winner will obtain the trophy. It will also have the collaboration of the solidarity group 'Calasparra moves' and its benefits will go to the fight against cancer.
The first event will be, as usual, the bullfight of the Day of the Saints on July 30 with the debut of the livestock of El Tajo and La Reina, owned by José Miguel Arroyo 'Joselito'.
The Rice Fair will take place from September 3 to 8 and will feature the novilladas of Miura, Cuadri and Valdellán (the only ones to fight these herds in Spain in 2019), Prieto de la Cal, José Escolar and the novelty of Puerto de San Lorenzo. Once again, therefore, Calasparra is at the forefront of the novilladas fairs.
