The Fair ended yesterday with a bullfight of Domingo Hernández-Garcigrande bulls where Cayetano completed the line-up.
Ponce received the first one with Veronicas. He showed signs of weakness, but he came up and showed bravery on the horse, pushing hard, well caught by Manuel Quinta. He began with doblones and the faena had ups and downs but always with emotion before the brave Domingo Hernandez. By the right hand in the round at the end of the faena he increased the intensity and finished with poncinas. He gave a low thrust and it took him a long time to double, sounding two warnings. The fourth was a demanding asado from Garcigrande to which Ponce with command and power achieved an elegant faena. Tandas linked by both sides but more intense on the right. It was noble and asked for the card but the Valencian made it good and put the rest to raise the audience with endless poncinas. Full thrust and two ears.
El Juli to the quite by chicuelinas in the second. Already demonstrated in the early stages the readiness and fixity in the crutch and the Madrid-born Domingo Hernandez knee down to earth forcing him low. Extraordinary class of the asado humiliating with a long distance and transmission. El Juli by right hand linking tandas with power. Muletazos infinite without removing the muleta from his face. In round raised the audience as a brooch. Falling lunge and two ears. Barroso endured well the thrust of the fifth to the horse. El Juli brought out his repertoire in the cape with three varied quites, lopecinas, chicuelinas, faroles, delighting the audience who even asked him to put banderillas. He gave up at the first change and could not link two passes. He received a standing ovation after a media that needed the descabello.
The third bull, also from Domingo Hernández, was complicated and caught Alberto Zayas in an ugly way in banderillas. Cayetano faced with security and firmness the difficulties of the bull. He elaborated a faena on the right side, enduring the animal's parones and glances. He did not have a pass on the left side and received a standing ovation after a pinch and a full length bullfight. He saluted in banderillas Joselito Rus and Alberto Zayas in the last one. The beginning of the muleta of the sixth animal was exciting, but the work was diluted in spite of the attempts and disposition of Cayetano in front of another animal that ended up cracking.
