The Real Maestranza presents the poster for the Seville 2020 season

The German artist Albert Oehlen is the author of the work to illustrate the bullfighting season of the Andalusian capital

The Real Maestranza of Seville presented this morning the poster that will illustrate the season of its Bullring next 2020. The work is signed by the painter Albert Oehlen (Krefeld, Germany; 1954) and represents a bullfighter with a very loose drawing surrounded by free lines.

The author has used an illustration he did 20 years ago, impressed and attracted to bullfighting world. Known for his large paintings, he often innovates with materials and techniques in his work.

In the presentation, he has been accompanied by LieutenantBig Brother of the ‘Real Maestranza de Caballería’ of Seville, Ramón Valencia of the Pagés Company and José Cobo, gallery owner and art expert.
