Paco Ureña, town crier of the Hogueras 2019

The bullfighter from Murcia will bullfight the event on June 19 at the Alicante bullring.

For the tenth time, the bullfighting entities, together with the company Toros del Mediterráneo and the City hall of Alicante, organize the proclamation that will start the Bullfighting Fair of Hogueras 2019. The event will take place in the Alicante bullring on Wednesday, June 19 at 8:00 pm.

Journalist Blas de Peñas will be the presenter of the proclamation, which will be dedicated to the memory of Dámaso González, immortalized in this year's poster. In addition, the Municipal Symphonic Band will accompany the event with a concert of pasodobles.

Alicante presents the Hogueras Fair 2019

It will be held from June 21 to 30 and will consist of a total of nine festejos adding the novillada of August

Toros del Mediterráneo - Simon Casas Production, management company of the Alicante bullring, has presented the posters for the Hogueras Fair, the main event of the Levantine city. Four bullfights, one bullfight of rejones, two practical classes, the novelty of an International Meeting of Tauromaquias and the novillada picada of August make up this year's offer.

The poster is the work of Joserra de Lozano and is a tribute to Dámaso González on the 50th anniversary of his alternative in this bullring, on June 24, 1969.
