Record attendance in Zaragoza

151.908 spectators attended this year to the La Misericordia bullring

151,908 spectators is the official figure of attendees who purchased tickets to attend the bullfighting festivities held in Zaragoza's bullring from October 7 to 15 on the occasion of the Feria del Pilar.

This figure represents an increase of almost 13% with respect to the attendees in 2016. This spectacular figure once again highlights the total recovery of the Zaragoza bullring since the company Simon Casas Production took over the management. It is currently the healthiest fair in Spain and the only fair where all types of bullfighting can be found.

This year there have been six "no tickets" signs in its different celebrations and in seven of them there has been almost a full house. This means that in a single day more than 30,000 people have passed through the bullring.

The Feria del Pilar has also dominated the local and national media through the promotional campaign "ZARAGOZA: PILAR DE LA TAUROMAQUIA" starring the bullfighters performing in it, and this year together with the prominence that the popular celebrations have in Zaragoza. Once again, this campaign has become a banner for the vindication of the values of bullfighting in all its forms.
