MaxiToro presents a Feria del Milagro high-flying

The Centro de la Cultura de Illescas hosted this Tuesday the presentation of the posters of the Feria del Milagro. Numerous fans wanted to support the staging of a cycle of "high flights", as defined by the businessman himself. The Illescano series consists of two bullfights, a bullfight and a bullfight with picadors, to be held on March 11 and 12, respectively. Both events will begin at 5:30 pm.

The city of Illescas will go down in the history of bullfighting for being the scene of the reappearance for one day, exclusively, of the Sevillian bullfighter PEPE LUIS VÁZQUEZ. And he will not do it in just any poster, far from it. MORANTE de la PUEBLA will make the paseíllo for the first time in the bullring of Illescas. In addition, it should be noted that it will be the only one, along with the one in Cuenca, that the Sevillian bullfighter will do in all of Castilla-La Mancha in 2017. Completing the trio will be José María MANZANARES, who returns to the town of Toledo after nine years. They will bullfight a bullfight of the Madrid livestock of José Vázquez.

A day later, the novillada with picadors will take place, with a line-up that brings together three young bullfighters of enormous projection. Marcos, the last winner of the "Soy Novillero" Contest, returns to "his" bullring to defend the colors of the Spanish flag in a very interesting international novillada. He will face the two most important novilleros of the 2016 season, the Mexican Leo Valadez and the French Andy Younes. They will fight a bullfight of Domingo Hernández.

The presentation of the posters of the Feria del Milagro, conducted by journalist Pedro Javier Cáceres, was attended by the businessman Maximino Pérez, the novillero Marcos and the mayor of the town, José Manuel Tofiño. To make the event more dynamic and interesting, several videos were projected about the cycle and the bullfighters announced in it.

The City Council of Illescas is committed to bullfighting. Since 2016 it has initiated a project so that the city, on the day of the Miracle, becomes the national bullfighting reference at the beginning of the season. It has also just guaranteed the continuity of the bullfighting festivities for the next 10 years, going hand in hand with the company MaxiToro.
