Great performance by Paco Velasquez in Alcañices: three ears and a tail

Rejoneador Paco Velasquez once again dazzled in Alcañices (Zamora) with a remarkable performance, cutting three ears and a tail, continuing his successful August campaign.

In his first encounter, facing a young bull from the Astolfi ranch, Velasquez began his act on horseback with Vasquiño. He skillfully placed the banderillas while riding horses like Bambú, Volapié, and Xarope, finishing with a precise thrust using Cartier, earning him the first ear of the afternoon.

Velasquez’s crowning moment came with his second bull, from Hermanos Boyano. The rejoneador started the fight on Isco, later shining with horses like Volapié and Sol, showcasing his classical style and expertise. After another excellent thrust with Cartier, the crowd awarded him two ears and a tail.

In the same event, Ferrer Martín also made a strong impression, cutting an ear from each of his bulls, while the Forçados Amadores de Moita executed four successful “pegas” on the first attempt.
